"This is my most memorable summer." She said with hopeful eyes.

I hate it sometimes. I hate how she is always looking forward to tomorrow as if tomorrow is going to be different, as if I am not dying tomorrow.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Because I have a friend and we are together everyday." She showed me a grin and my heart ached more.

She's a friend that I didn't mean to make. I had no idea that I would treasure her like this. I depend on her so much. I hate that I can't do anything for her. I can't do anything for anyone. At the end of the day, it's going to be me who will leave her side first.

It's going to be me who will leave everyone who ever loved me.
