The Earth fell into chaos, the oceans rose causing mass flooding, many countries have already drowned. The volcanoes all around the Earth's fault lines split in two releasing explosions that make Mount Saint Helens look like an ant in a mudslide. The tectonic plates are rising slowly, far above the Earth's atmosphere, the gravity is failing. The surviving humans rush to the only remaining shuttles, but so many people are getting lost and caught in the massive flow of bodies, or tripping and falling off the crumbling ground. "Jace! Hold my hand!" I hear my mother yell. I reach for her hand, but suddenly I am grabbed around the waist and lifted high into the air. "Mom!" I scream, but its too late, the ground right under where we were standing cracks and my wonderful mother looks at me one last time. "Remember us Jason, remember us! I love you." she says as she falls into the abyss.
