"Circles of sight, drunken mirrors." The following collection of poems are written not for myself, but for many different purposes (someone gives me a title and I have to write something). There might be prose in here too, so I guess it's not just a collection of poems. The title of this book, Act My Age, was inspired by the studio album This Is Acting, by singer-songwriter Sia. As her album mostly contained the rejected songs she wrote for other people, I decided to follow the same concept and make a collection of poems that do not belong elsewhere. Another inspiration for the title came from reading many plays, and thus I wanted the book to have ambiguity with regards to what each poem meant, and leave it up to the audience to decide.
