A young girl named Kayla Smith who is 16 meets the band R5 from her best friend Madeline Spring who meet the band when she lived in California then soon moved to New Jersey. Soon enough when Madeline and Kayla turned 18 they both moved to California where the Lynch family will be waiting for then at the girls new house.
