Chapter one: Adrift

They know the truth, and now people are after them. The night before the Third World War begins, they are captured and taken. With next to no memory of any life they had before, they awaken in another place - on board a space vessel named the Epsilon IX. They are trapped centuries in the future. In the depths of deep space, the nearest planet is home to a humanoid species - not quite human nor alien - where there is apparently peace and order, all overseen by the looming figure of Scourge.
