Evelyn Reynolds is turning 16 years old soon. School has just ended for the summer and all she wants is nothing more to enjoy time with her friends and the freedom she has. But, her life feels invaded when Nick Chambers, a writer, moves into her family's pool house. She is constantly watching him and vying for his attention as well as his affections. Evie begins feeling as if Nick is watching her as much as she is him.
