Krist is a disobedient angel, as punishment for his crimes he was sentenced to endless days of torture. Singto, the King of all angels, has other plans for him. He knows normal torture wouldn't break this particular angel, so he tries something untraditional. Singto makes Krist his pet, humiliating him both in the eyes of everyone and in private. The masochist the rebellious angel was- Krist enjoyed the shame.

Krist also bears witness to the unseen side of the King, one that the rare few know about, the side that made Krist feel true fear- Singto was not the white soul his subjects thought he was.
