"All you did was break my heart, over and over again. And all I did was forgive you, over and over again." From a place of gunshots and flags, I was the minority that made it into college. Others felt as it they didn't have a choice, other than to stay back and slang dope on the corners of Atlanta. My closest friend was caught up in that life as well. Too deep in I couldn't change her mind to save her. She wanted to be save but she also felt as if she didn't have another choice. That's when the lies began, betrayal, and blood. I knew I was too late when I saw the red flag draped around her ankle. Trying to protect her, I put my own life in danger. However, I had my own life to focus on... But my love for her never left.
