Reunion

As her sweet voice flowed around him in melody, he couldn't help his thoughts invariably

returning to their promise of an eternal future together that had sadly ended prematurely on a

bitter note , wondering painfully if there would be a chance for them, but dismissing it as mere

wishful thinking, resuming his focus instead on the purpose of him being in the midst of the
