"I'm tired."

He looks up to meet your gaze. Pain evident in his eyes. You could see it. He's hurt.

You looked away. You don't know but for a strange reason, you wanted to run to him and hug him.
But you chose to refrain yourself.

"What are you talkin' about?"
You asked, still not looking at him.
Somehow you know where this conversation is going.

"Babe, you know you can tell me if you just want to lie down and cuddle" - you said while heading to the bedside. You sit on the edge and looked at his direction.

He just looks at you.

You patted the space beside you. Silently telling him to take a sit there. But he doesn't move.
You smile.

"Hey! Why are you still standing there? I thought you said you're tir---"

He cut you off.

"Bullshit! Y/N!!!" - now he's shouting. You're shocked. This is the first time he actually shouted at you. You looked at him.

It seems like he wasn't also expecting this outburst. Because you could see his face softened.

"I, I'm -- " - he's struggling.
"I, I want,..... Let's just end this."
