Description
Civilization has been rebuilt after an apocalypse nearly 150 years ago. Children still go to school, parents go to work and the elderly retire peacefully. Although the public act as if everything is alright, they fail to conceal the fact that the post-apocalyptic effects continue to affect them. The apocalypse birthed a new type of virus called Mortalitas. Mortalitas is an aggressive although slow virus that infects its host. It eats away at certain nerves in the brain that slowly lead the host towards insanity although leaving the rest of their body in perfect condition. Eventually, the host looks towards death as their only option for peace and the Mortalitas searches for another victim to tame. After a massive suicide spike, caused by Mortalitas, people start to fear that the slow virus is suddenly becoming aggressive. With no treatment for its victims, the government is in search of those who are willing to help form a cure towards this invincible attacker.
