Thomas Crawely is left with nowhere to go but a crumbling estate in an unheard-of fishing village when his brother dies, leaving him with a mountain of debt. Marriage is the furthest thing from his mind when he meets Miss Fairchild, but from the time of their uncomfortable first meeting, Crawley cannot stop thinking about her..
