A short poem from the unpublished book Tampon Time. Because we're not ready to take the gamble that women want to read about the horrors of 'carpet burn'. But Ladies, it's real! So do we call this Humor, Horror or Mystery/Thriller?! "I unwrapped the tampon while a thousand thoughts swam around in my mind. What happens if it gets stuck up there? What If I die from toxic shock syndrome that I don't really even understand but my Mother has constantly scared me about? Can it fall out? How far in does it really have to go? What happens if I get the wrong hole?! - That last one let me tell you, I don't think you can really stuff up. Even me, the one who skipped all the Sex Ed classes, still managed. I did, however, have a few other real issues."
