Description
"I have a confession. Something impossible. Something unfathomable. And you won't believe me when I tell you." Adrianne Arcane has had a pretty unusual life, even by wizarding standards: She has always followed her instincts, lived among Muggles for the first six years of her life, then with her Wizarding 'family' for five years, and doesn't understand that the 3 Unforgivable Curses are bad. She has a shady understanding of the meaning of "family", and has no idea who she is and what she's meant to do in the world. On her eleventh birthday, she receives acceptance into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the secrets her entire life has been based on begin to unravel rapidly. There, she meets Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived; Ronald Weasley, his best friend; Hermione Granger, the so-called brightest witch of their age; and Draco Malfoy, the trio's sworn enemy. She befriends him and, as they learn about the light side of magic, they begin to wonder about their destinies, until a tragedy forces them to act upon it.
