He watched her, his eyes taking in her lovely form, regal as always, delight observing her

cheerful countenance, mingling with the pain of what was not meant to be, wishing almost

painfully for things to be different between them, anger chasing in its wake, making him want

to take a fist at the creep who had unjustly hurt her.
