Prologue: The tale of the twins

You don't trust many people. This was due to the fact that you have lived longer than most beings and have seen the horrors that have came to you by trusting others. You were the guardian of Frisk, entrusted with their care by their mother before she passed. But when the orphan climbs back up that mountain after you had left them in an orphanage out of grief, what can you do to stop the determination of that child? Or the monsters that will soon be released.
