Music is a part of life, a part of who we are. You can go anywhere in the world and music will follow you. You can't escape it. Whenever you hear a song, it makes you wonder, is this song meant for me? Is this the song that represents who I am, shares the same feelings and emotions I feel? That's what I want. I want to find my song. *** Jessica Burns is in her last year of high school. She wants to be someone the world listens to. Literally. The problem is, she can't make any music. She has no friends, that is, unless you count her twin brother. Her parents are never home. When her brother suddenly discovers something that will change both of their lives, she will have to jump out of her comfort zone to protect their future. Jason Crosswell is the schools popular musician. He's always been someone that everyone stops and listens to. But he has a shadow over his past, and even though things look much brighter now, that shadow is slowly creeping up on him, threatening to devour everything he holds dear. Can Jessica save Jason from his past? Will Jason help Jessica achieve break she needs? Or will her voice forever be silenced?
