The days have arrived. Harvesting Season has come and not a single human alive is safe. No one. ~ Silver Mayne is one of the fortunate ones. She has made it all ten years after The Awakening without being taken. In that time, her parents have been training her to fight back if she were ever to be attacked. But when her mother was taken from her home by a Harvester, Silver throws herself in the way of the blood-sucking creature, submitting to him and insisting she is taken instead. She was younger and healthier. Silver was a much better catch than her mother. The Harvester disregarded her mother and instead took her, unleashing her into the claws of Basil Dresden, or, better known as, the King of the Vampires. ~ Warning: I'm not completely secure with updating, so I'm not sure when the next will be, but be sure to let me know what you think of the story so far!
