Chapter 1

Life at high school is not at all interesting when you're someone like me. I'm invisible to all except one person, my best friend Jordan, who I probably have a tiny crush on. Probably.
But there's this new girl in our school, complete opposite of me and somehow, we get close. So close, that I now know the ever darkening shadows behind her bright eyes.
With her by my side, sparks are erupting in my dark world. And with time, those sparks turn into fire.
