Prologue

Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles met and married each other during an ocean cruise on 1D (One Direction). Their surrogate, Cher Lloyd gave birth to twin daughters Amy and Emmy, but the couple divorced and lost contact with each other, each parent raising one of the twins without telling her about her sister. Louis raised Amy in New York and opened a Performing Arts School whilst Harry raised Emmy in London and started up a recording company. One summer, Louis and Harry coincidentally enroll their daughters in the same performing camp in Maine. Emmy and Amy, who are now thirteen years old, first meet at the end of an aerobics routine, when the two girls turn to face each other and see that they look alike. A game of truth or dare gone wild leads the camp advisers to send the two into isolation together. Living together, Amy and Emmy discover that they were born on the same day and they each have half of a torn wedding photograph of their parents. Realizing with delight that they are twins, the girls hatch a plan to meet their previously unknown parents: Each girl will train her twin to impersonate her, and they will switch places at the end of the summer.
