Chapter 1: A New World

This is just your basic, average Cinderella story...with a few notable exceptions: (1) It takes place in the fractured remains of the US, long after a meteor strike wiped out most of human civilization. (2) The wicked step-sisters are not so wicked. Everyone has their demons, evil step-mother notwithstanding, right? (3) Cinderella struggles with depression and is pregnant, with no hope of seeing her baby's daddy ever again. (4) And, oh yeah, Prince Charming actually has a personality.
