Introduction

This piece is a short collection of poetry I have written about my struggle with cultural and self identity. These pieces are the culmination of my attempt to voice the continuing conflict between my Mexican heritage and American home, voicing my attempts at trying to reclaim my culture in a time of the decadence of traditional cultural values countrywide.
