Simon Wright, a third year English major, has never had an easy life. He was teased as a boy, his mother died when he was twelve and his father went missing shortly afterwards. All he has left is his grandmother who he takes care of. Simon has to work late nights at the local library just to make ends meet.

One night when Simon was in his parent's old study he discovers a book that will change his life forever.
