Kia is a mutant girl, but she can't tell that to her friends, the Autobots. She especially can't tell that to the mech she call her best friend, Ratchet. She doesn't feel confident that they will accept her as a freak of nature. She almost doesn't accept it herself. She never asked to be this way.

So she hides. From them. From herself.

But she cannot hide from the silent Decepticon stalking her from the shadows. However, as she gets to know more about this war injured mech, does she really want to?
