Taylor VanWoodenson was born to nobility and lived a happy life. She thought she was the luckiest girl in the world until her parents were murdered in front of her when she was five. Having been raised with her as her best friend, William managed to convince his parents to let her live in their palace until she could inherit her family fortune and name. Because of certain circumstances, she is forced to keep her true identity secret until she turns eighteen. Living with Will's family goes well until one day, when Taylor is seven, her reason for living in the palace is questioned.
