Athena Ambar. A meaningless name to most people. A girl who goes unnoticed by everyone at Winston High. She follows the rules and gets good grades. She's single and has never had boyfriend. She longs for adventure, change from her boring life.

Grayson Lake. The most popular football player at Winston High. He breaks the rules and is on the verge of failing almost every class. He is a cliché bad boy and all the girls want him. He has never had a real relationship, he'd much rather have one night stands that mean nothing. He loves the thrill of being a "bad boy" and wouldn't trade the feeling for anything.
