When mother of Melanie's long time-no see ex, Trevor, get's into an accident and is placed in a coma, Trevor has no choice but to move in with the Kessler family, close family friends with his mother, until she recovers or until he turns eighteen. Melanie is forced to share rooms with him and relive a horrific memory every day. Melanie doesn't understand why Trevor did what he did to her nor he does he want her to find out. After what he put her through, how could she ever look him in the eye again?
