Roseanne Hansen is losing herself. Every day she feels herself slip further and further away. She feels like a stranger in her own skin.

Her mother grows concerned about Rose's wellbe
wellbeing so she is sent to her cousin's house as she gets along with her cousin, Evan.

At her new high school she meets a strange guy in her year group. Although his firey outbursts and his anti social behaviour, Rose does not fear him. She grows fond of him instead.
