Fawnkit is one of the kits in Breezeclan, soon to become an apprentice. The thing is, she isn't so excited about it either. After her half-blind brother, Whitekit got carried off by an eagle, thinking about becoming a warrior is much more scary. Her sister Specklekit does not help and as her suspicions grow about her sister and Snakestike, the dark brown tabby warrior, it might be too late before she can stop the coming strike.

Smallpaw is a Streamclan apprentice. After MountainClan steals Streamclan prey, Pantherstar begins to realise MountainClan's threat to their home. As problems increase, Smallpaw wonders if his clan will have to live far from home.
