[ Five Hargreeves / Original male character ] Wilbur feels her nails against his skin, soft, perfectly shaped ovals painted a bright red, the picture perfect image of domesticity, a man's dream. It makes his skin crawl, memories of his own mother with her pale skin and soft-spoken words that he knew better of, thinking of the Spanish conquistadors of his early life, painted on the back of his eyelids, burned into them. He's knocking her wrist away faster than he can think, far more force than needed, feeling that barbed wire panic beginning to form in his throat, threatening to choke him. It's like Five can hear it, his hand on Wilbur's wrist faster than he can think, teleporting in front of him. It does nothing but set that panic in a rush, threatening to crush his chest, "let me go," Wilbur orders, feeling that barbed wire digging into the flesh of his throat, Five's hands burning into his skin the same way his mother did, glad the wire doesn't make the words less commanding than he wants them to be, feeling Five's breath on his face, and feels the need to run. He is reminded, again, he doesn't belong here. ━━━━━━ Wilbur Canizales, born 1583, has been dragged back to Earth with a task, kill someone else who cheated death, the promise of being sent back to the dark, sprawling caves of the underworld hang over his head, this dull thrum of panic setting in. His target is another assassin, a reincarnation of god, if you will, but he will never be as strong. Wilbur, gifted with the ability to hear thoughts through song and see into dreams through the language of intricate dances, is one who has the chance to kill him and get another shot at living his life.
