Anton Wrexler is a 12 going on 16 year old recruit of the Hitler Youth. He boards the MV Wilhelm Gustloff on a retreat and when the ship is torpedoed by a submarine, he ends up on a lost island of hybrids and one of them, a centaur named Romulus, has taken a sudden interest in him, to which he may want to become human in order to be with him.
