The Humanity of Emotion is set in an alternate reality wherein artificial life exists. In fact, these artificial beings could think and speak the way humans do. However, society and their own inability to rise from their oppression causes them to doubt their "humanity".
Meanwhile, a man makes a mistake of falling in love with a doll. And a young, wealthy invalid forgets the debt he owes to his "non-human" manservant.
