There, upon the cold earth and in the brush of the forest the raven became something else.

The Valravn, a supernatural creature: a raven with the form of a man, known only to bring unto Midgard a plague of chaos and illusion. He has his talons dug so tightly into the clan under the rule of Ragnar, son of Helge, that ties will begin to unravel and fray. The bonds that hold the Danes together may sever or hold, but the more they listen for the Valravn's song the closer to darkness they tread.
