Prologue

Fourteen years ago an unspeakable act was committed. A Cartoonist and A Engineer experimented on children, using remnant and ink to transform them. They were apprehended and the children were sent to loving homes and caring and loving families. Fourteen years later, all is well. The children are getting ready to start their first year at high school. All is goes well until a news report changes everything. The men have escaped. And they're out there. Somewhere. The children's worlds are turned upside down as they sent on a life on the run from the men that experimented on them.
