Chapter One: My Rotten Life

Sixteen year old Mason Collins has always been struggling to express his thoughts, feelings, and opinions, but has never been given the opportunity.

Mason was born with a speech impairment that causes him to be an outcast at school and to experience several challenges throughout his life that he never imagined any human would have to live through.

As he starts his junior year at high school, Mason goes through many changes in his life, but will he finally find happiness, perhaps some love, or maybe his inner voice?
