It's not easy being in love with your best friend, especially when they are one of North Coast High School famous heartbreakers. Zoey Knight knew that more than anyone else, which is why she made sure to never develop feeling for her best friend, Miles Carter.

But in the tenth grade, sitting under the branches of a tree in the backyard of Miles home, under the night sky, they shared their first kiss and promised each other to never tell a single soul, nor develop feelings for one another.

But, of course, that's easier said than done.
