Marisue has lived an easy, relatively luxurious life in a flooded world. With a magical blessing passed down through her family, she and her sister rule one of the remaining settlements.

But one day, everything is turned on its head, and Marisue finds herself on the run in a dinky little rowboat, trying to figure out how it all went so, so wrong.
