1927 was a thriving year for the Mossetti family. Prohibition had put the Mafia gang in a financial gain bringing in millions by the year. But like all thriving organizations there is always someone trying to bring you down. Andre Mossetti have a choice to make which putting him in a difficult situation . Kill the friend that betrayed him and be a successful vicious made man or try to change the very thing that defines him. The late 20's always had a glamorous shine to it but not if your a black Italian girl who isn't accepted into any social group. An outcasted artist Nola Light try to find her way while living with her older sister who is soon to marry a made man Richard. What will happen when she meets a man who not like any man she met before . Will she thinks he's like everyone else or more different then she ever think he could be .
