In a world where magic is everything to its people, there lives a girl named Aeluna. Aeluna is a unique existence, having been born from an elven mother and a human father. However, Aeluna didn't get to have the luxury of knowing either of her parents, having been abducted from her home in the midst of night at just a few months old and dropped off at the doorstep of an orphanage located in the far reaches of the realm of commoners, alongside two other infant boys, named Asta and Yuno. Aeluna knew for as long as she could remember that she wasn't like everyone else in the village that she grew up in. Despite this, she strives to become a strong wizard alongside the two boys that she grew up with. When she is given the opportunity to join the ranks of the Magic Knights, a group of nine squads who are charged with protecting the kingdom, Aeluna sees it as a chance to finally become stronger in order to find her own place in the world.
