Chapter One

James Carson, a young cargo tradesman, has had nothing but tough luck since he set out on the high seas. But things go from bad to worse when he encounters the Black Skull Pirates who massacre his crew, take over his ship, and throw him into the sea to drown.
Just when he thinks things can't get worse, he is rescued by a mixed band of matriarch -ruled gypsy pirates who's alluring captain, Demetria, is the very reason he's in this mess.
James must put aside his pride and join this ambitious new crew if he wants to exact his revenge on the pirates who destroyed his crew. And in the process...must guard his heart, whether from the exotic beauty of his new captain or the end of her tempered blade.
