James Phoenix has suffered the loss of his sister and mother in a house fire a few years ago. His father was used as a scapegoat for a murder he didn't commit. This left James in the hands of an old family friend. It's been a few years since then and James lives and works for a blacksmith named Fabron. It's been peaceful for him until he receives a letter from the King. The letter is a job offer to become a Killsman. Only 6 people in the Kingdom can be chosen to become the next Killsman squad. James is only one of 6 to receive the letter. There is one problem though, James hates the King for wrongfully blaming his father for murder.
