"What are you going to name 'him' then, darling?" Freddie said with a smile. "... Brian," I say slowly.

Roger Meddows Taylor, a college senior, is in love with his car.

For his 21st birthday, his friends got him a pink, vintage car from the 50's.

And, of course, Roger decided to name his vehicle, Brian. Unbeknownst, of a boy in his band named Brian, someone he may or may not have fallen in love with in the future.

Challenges pop up his way. Girlfriends, maybe even boyfriends, confusing him in his path, being a girl or a boy, and an infuriating but lovable science nerd with curly hair and a smile that can stab you in the heart.
