Humans are so much more vulnerable at night, aren't they? Like, when you're scared, sad or in pain or just lonely, nights seem to last forever, don't they?

For both Shannon and Cari, every night seemed endless, even with the creeping need of ending it all constantly tingling in the tips of their fingers.
