Prologue

Prince Nightmare, unlike what everyone else convinced themselves, is the rightful heir to the throne. He is the oldest child, which means he is next in line to be king. Things don't go the way they are supposed to, and Nightmare decides to run away from home, never to be seen again. Years later, he's returned to the kingdom, and he definitely isn't the same person he was when he left.
