Ethan moved to Germany almost a year after he graduated from college. His plan was to finish his first novel while living in a small apartment in München, make it big, and move to a big house in the German countryside to live and write alone. That might not neccesarily work out, however, as he meets a somewhat strange girl - that and the fact that the French army is knocking on Switzerland's door, and Switzerland is the only thing between France and Germany.
