Things could have been different.....

Never could she have fathomed the way her fate worked out. Never could she have realised that her world would be turned upside down in a jiffy. Never could she have gotten back up after falling into a pit so dark that even sun itself couldn't have managed to reach the bottom in broad daylight. Yet she knew she had to. She knew she had to, not only for herself but for her lost family and those memories she cherished with them.
