Why can't the Earth be flat?

I love science. It is what drives me to explore mor beautiful and interesting things. In this documentary sort of novel, I intend to write about how the Earth can never be flat. I am not a scientist, but i am currently studying to be a biologist and still in highschool.

This is my first ever novel I will write.
