"This war is useless!" I screamed, slamming my fist against the bright orange wall. His green eyes focused on me in shock as I panted, pure anger surging through my thoughts. "All of this is useless, but you don't seem to care about the people here, do you?" I growled as I slowly lifted my head, peering through my blonde hair that had fallen over my face. "You're lucky that Ella left when she did, or else your head would be on a stake." I was a normal girl. The key word of that sentence is 'was'.
