Ashley Bennett is a nobody at high school, and it totally sucks. So when Josh, the cute guy she sits next to in English, asks her on a date, she can hardly believe it! She and her best friend, Allie, have been waiting for an opportunity to move up the social foodchain, and this may just be their chance - but as Ashley and Josh grow closer, she starts to think her best friend isn't as happy about it as she should be. Can their friendship withstand it?
