Description
Set between the end of TOS and the beginning of TMP, Christine Chapel, serving a short tour on the USS Yorktown with a fresh MD and Starfleet Doctor's certification, beams down to a colony for annual medical checkups, only to find a mysterious disease has rendered all of the colonists unconscious and dying. "Breath Control" is a 6700-ish word short story, told in 8 scenes, and began posting on March 17th, 2019. The story is complete and the posting target is one scene per day until it's done, but if I miss a day (because sometimes life gets in the way), I'll probably do two the next day. This is a work of fan fiction taking place in the Star Trek prime universe just after The Original Series time frame. The rights to Star Trek and all associated names and characters are held by CBS-Paramount and no infringement is intended.
